µTorrent
Ok so here's the deal, µTorrent is a light weight but feature filled Bit Torrent client that Bit Torrent Inc. bought a while ago. Since then the µTorrent team has progressively gone down hill, no longer developing for the community. However they did continue 'improving' µTorrent, fair enough right?
No, what they forget to tell you when you update to the latest versions is that your download speeds plummet from your regular speeds, for me 2.5 megabytes per second down to about 40 kilobytes per second this is a loss of over 98.9% of my connection capability. This is completely unacceptable and for a 'respectable' team they shouldn't have let it happen. At that they shouldn't have sold their souls to Bit Torrent Inc. who are systematically buying out Bit Torrent Client teams to corner the client market again.
Well, I am NEVER going to use anything above µTorrent 1.6.1 as it is clearly not prone to the remote crashing problem that they are passing around. So about an inch or so further down your screen there is a lovely download link to µTorrent 1.6.1 the BEST Bit Torrent Client available.
