I am wearing it properly today for the first time, on a much cooler day (high teens in Celsius, versus sweatily hot). It goes on a bit strong and obviously unisex, but NOT too masculine for a woman who likes distinctive scents. It's now about 4 hours later and the scent has faded to a soft but noticeable lime / bergamot / iris / sandalwood scent -- those are the notes that I can still smell clearly. The overall effect is of a soft fragrant warm spicy perfume, good for autumn (and probably spring). I am glad I bought it!

The iris is powdery and earthy, and altogether the heart is tart, dry, powdery, earthy and green, helping to ground the big bold citrus. There is a moment when I get the image of a cigarette that has been crushed out in a plate of tart lemon curd, but this is mercifully short lived. This one was my first one at 1998. And you never forget your first one! Yes, it was reformulated, and under versus production, it wasn't the same as before. But now it's Versace again, and I can recall my good memories with the scent, it's smells now the same as it smelled in 1998. I don't feel it's dated! It's an unique scent, one of a kind. It has a great Coca Cola vibe at the opening and it's a bit gourmand, and it gives me a very cozy feeling. Longevity is superb easy 12+ hours on my skin. Projection and sillage are both fantastic. The intention was to produce a fresher perfume aimed at young teenagers who are concerned, in an early way, with their image. I don't particularly think it worked! I'm not talking about the fragrance, which is great, but the result that, in my point of view, was not made for teenagers. Will first iam a huge fan of versace frag..I love dreamer..blue jeans ..l homme ...so I told to my self let's try this on although the bottle is not impressive the scent is excellent ..it start with sharp natural lemon at the top then powdered lemon in the middle then dry down into a nice patcholi ......this scent remind me Exactly exactly exactly exactly like guerlain heritage with no.difference at all ..so if you like heritage I strongly recomend this one because it is much cheaper If there's anything I don't like with this fragrance it's very citrusy opening that doesn't mix all too well with the rest of the notes. But once that wears off it becomes a very gentle masculine scent. Almost old school but in a very youthful way. Not like "my grandpa used to wear this when he was 50" but more like "my uncle probably wore this when he was young". It smells a little more modern than Blue Jeans, eschewing some of the more retro notes and presenting violet florality against more masculine woods.

Synthetic floral, on the edge between cloying and headache inducing, preferred smelling it on other guys, too annoying to wear though.Too sad for the bottle it ends up in my garage i spray it as an air freshener if something stinks going on. I really couldn't find a good place to use it, not even in toilet if the scent will make ppl felt nervous 😔 Tried at a store a while ago so memory on exact smells a bit spotty but I remember the overall feeling. My love for Versace Blue Jeans will never change. Can't recall how many bottles since 1994. I remember i was so attracted to the magazine poster and not to mention the nice blue jeans print metal tin. The bottle with the lion head cap and lion heads glass bottle is so cool. Today I sprayed my 2012 batch out and I can always smell it even with mask on.. In the bus, in the train, on the streets.

There's some sweet - maybe vanilla. There's some citrus - maybe lemon. There's some spice - maybe cinnamon.I've had this one many times in my life (just recently finished a bottle) and other people tend to notice it. Good for the price. I think you get what you pay for here in terms of longevity and general performance, but the scent profile is far better than you'd expect at such a low price point. As the heat and humidity build, I pulled out Baby Blue Jeans, applying early in the morning for a bracing jolt of bergamot, here in it's lemon personae. On me more lemon than lime, this is a fresh unisex fragrance that seems made for sweltering weather. I tried this one a couple of times and while I didn't think it was bad, it just wasn't something I could wear. It became cloying after awhile also.
