Advertising Information

So you want to advertise on my site? No problem! Here are the rules.

The advert is a similar scheme to the page you want to advertise on.
Example: WinMX related advert on the WinMX page.
Adverts cannot be adult orientated.
Example: No pornography adverts or adult themed site adverts, dating service adverts will not be accepted either.
Must be tasteful.
Must be able to be viewed by most internet users, within reason & exceptions can be made.

Advert cannot "flash" rapidly as could cause epileptic seizures.
Example: Flash image rapidly changing to an alternate color very quickly. Exceptions will not be made in any case.

Adverts should not exceed advert space.
Example: Advert Space is 380 x 60 (W x H) pixels if your advert is designed to expand on users request this is acceptable to 380 x 180 (W x H) pixels.
Adverts with sounds are allowed in certain cases. By default sounds have to be off if they are included with the advert.
Example: The annoying "Zap the Fly" advert always has audio which you cannot turn off. Adverts like this are not allowed under any circumstance. Sounds are allowed if they are only played when the user wants sounds.
Ad Server Adverts are not allowed the advert must be placed directly on my website, not linking back to an Ad server as these cannot be controlled by myself.
Example: You send me the advert via e-mail and I place it on my website myself. Giving me a link to an ad server will mean you are rejected from further advertisement requests for four weeks.

These rules subject to change and modification at my discretion and you will be alerted to any change that effects you directly.

In regards to exceptions I must personally approve any exceptions and will need to examine the advert before it is placed on my site.
